See what happens when a classically-trained percussionist with musical theater sensibility --and killer shoes-- puts on a show. Brian’s Marimba Cabaret brings together years of training and passion in an evening of theater tunes, art song, and pop covers performed on marimba, vibraphone, and voice. One Thursday a month, enjoy dinner and a show at South End's Club Cafe!

This month, Brian & Greg explore themes around love and relationships with new covers from Rufus Wainwright, Tom Kitt (Next To Normal), Jonathan Larson (Rent), Jackson 5, and more! There’s something for everyone in this eclectic evening of songs and stories.

GUEST ARTIST: This show will include special guest arranger & performer Sharon Chen on marimba!

Nowhere else can you hear beloved melodies by musical theater composers, covers of rock and pop songs, and new art songs by living classical composers all in one evening. Truly something for everyone, Brian shares his eclectic taste and love of music ranging from Steven Sondheim to Radiohead, Beatles to Outkast, and Leonard Bernstein to Florence + The Machine.

Directed and accompanied by percussionist Greg Jukes, Brian will sing, play, and (at times) stand 7-feet tall.
