Come out of the musical closet!

Join Brian Calhoon as he makes his Cleveland debut at the Maelstrom Collaborative Arts on Saturday, March 23. Brian sings and plays the marimba (like a giant xylophone) and performs covers of showtunes and pop songs, including music by Broadway’s Stephen Sondheim and Lin-Manuel Miranda and contemporary hits by Sara Bareilles and Billie Eilish.

Together with percussionists Katalin La Favre on vibraphone and Evan Mitchell on drums, they will premiere brand new arrangements of Radiohead’s “Creep” and Kermit The Frog’s famous “Rainbow Connection” alongside classic anthems like “I Am What I Am” from La Cage Aux Folles and the 90s throwback “Ya Gotta Be” by Des’ree. There’s something for everybody in this fabulously queer musical event.
